The Africa bovine animal is one of the most successful grazers in Africa. It lives in swamps, floodplains as well as mopane grasslands & woods of the vital plateau of Africa. Buffalo can be established from the largest mountains to sea grade areas, & go for medium with thick cover such as reeds & thickets. Herds have further been pinpointed in opën woodland & grassland. While not specifically perfectionist with regard to medium , they need water daily & therefore depend on perennial sources of water.
