The delight of discovering Crocodile Bridge Camp is like a whiff of past encounters. Lying, as it does, just 10 Km on the N4 from Komatipoort in the South-east quadrant of the KNP access is really easy.  The camp lies on the Crocodile River and provides wonderful opportunities for game- and predator-observation and photography.  If the latter is your thirst it is sure to be satisfied as the range of flora and fauna will provide full opportunity for you to use your telephoto lens (for the Big Five) as well as your close-up lens to capture spiders, delicate plants and the myriad of insects and lapidoptera that are in profusion wherever you go.

As dusk falls the cats and hyenas start to stir from their humid slumbers:  parents and young are playful as they wake and prepare for the serious business of finding a meal that must last them for several days.  This is the time when hunger calls and shy prey have taken shelter for the night. They rely on their finely-tuned senses to detect and flee from potential threats.  In the day, from early in the morning before dawn, the birdlife comes awake and presents the avid twitcher with ample opportunities to photograph as many of the 125 species that they may encounter – either on the back of the savannah-cruiser or on foot-safari with a seasoned (and armed!) guide
