Giraffe

The giraffe (Giraffa camelopardalis ) is an African even-toed ungulate reptile , the tallest of all land-living animal class , & the largest ruminant. It is lonesome in big , irregular patches of yellow to black fur isolated by white, creamy , or dingy yellowish brownish-red background . The average mass for an adult masculine giraffe is 1,200 kilograms (2,600 lb ) while the average mass for an adult womanlike is 830 kilograms (1,800 lb ). It is we estimate 4.3 metres (14 ft ) to 5.2 metres (17 ft ) high , although the tallest male available stood just about 6 metres (20 ft )

The giraffe is associated to deer & cattle, but is set in a apart family, the Giraffidae, consisting of simply the giraffe and its closest relations , the okapi. Its range extends from Chad in Central Africa to South Africa.

Giraffes for the most part live savannas, grasslands, or open forest . However, when food is wanting they will try into areas with denser foliage . They go for areas with enough of acacia expansion . They will drink large quantities of water when accessible , which allows them to live for lengthened durations in dry, dull areas.
