Kudu

Lesser Kudus come from the savannas nearby acacia & commiphora shrubs. They have to rest on thickets for insurance , so they are frequency at all caught a glimpse of in the open . Their drab brownish-red and striped pelts aid them disappear in scrub environments.

Kudus  eat leaves & shoots. In dry season , they eat wild watermelons and alternative fruit for the liquid and natural sugars they provide . The lesser Kudu is less contingent on water sources than the larger kudu.
