The well-known Orpen Rest Camp is situated on the western boundary of the Kruger Park from which visitors can access some of the most attractive grassland vistas available in the Park.  Guests are welcomed with a glass of chilled champagne and snacks while the attentive staff see swiftly and efficiently to the checking-in process.
Once settled in you will be fully informed by a knowledgeable Ranger of all the facilities at your disposal, from guided savannah trails, game-viewing  hides and, self-guided flora-walks to evening and night game spotting and even just lounging by the pool.

The scattered trees and wide-open plains capture many browsers; this in spin attracts the eye-catching cheetah, lion & leopard. A large variety of game might be sighted at the waterhole just outward the camp

Amazing Orpen Families and Wildlife Drives

Orpen is seen as one of the main restcamps in the Kruger Park. All the principal rest camps have restaurant and bar & a combination of attractions such as info points & a host of other historical exhibits.

The central camps are some of the most frequented destinations in Kruger Park & have many thousands of years past history, from the early times of the hunter-gatherers to today. Orpen , like many of the principal restcamps has public map, outlining the areas of the Orpen camp and& different regions of the larger park.

Orpen has a great connecting road infrastructure, making the camp preferred for viewers that want to drive their own wildlife viewing excursions.

Just Remember

  • Vehicles : Maintain speed limits and keep in the car between various camps.
  • Wild life : Please dont feed any of the wild life. Wild-life is there to be viewed & not touched.
