Buffalo

The African Buffalo, Affalo or Cape Buffalo (Syncerus caffer ) is a huge Africa bovid. It is up to 1.7 metres high , 3.4 metres long . Savannah sort buffaloes weigh 500–900 kg, with only males, routinely larger than females, reaching the top weight range

The Africa bovine animal is one of the most successful grazers in Africa. It lives in swamps, floodplains as well as mopane grasslands & woods of the vital plateau of Africa. Buffalo can be established from the largest mountains to sea grade areas, & go for medium with thick cover such as reeds & thickets. Herds have further been pinpointed in opën woodland & grassland. While not specifically perfectionist with regard to medium , they need water daily & therefore depend on perennial sources of water.

Africa elephants are bigger than Asian Elephants. Males stand 3.6 m (12 ft ) high at the shoulder and measure 5,400 kg (12,000 lb ), while females stand 3 m (9.8 ft ) and examine between 3,600 & 4,600 kg (7,900 and 10,000 lb ). However, males can get as huge as 6,800 kg (15,000 lb ).

The African Bush Elephant (Loxodonta africana ) is the bigger of the 2 species of African elephant. Both it & the Africa Forest Elephant have as usual been classified as a individual class , known simply as the Africa Elephant. Some authorities still consider the currently accessible evidence insufficient for bursting the Africa Elephant into 2 species . It is additionally known as the Bush Elephant or Savanna Elephant.

These animals usually feast an average of 225 kg of vegetable stuff daily , which is defecated without being entirely eaten . That, combined with the long distances that they can cover daily in search of more food, contributes particularly to the apportionment of many plant seeds that origin in the middle of a nutrient-filled feces pile . Elephants slice detached every kind of plants, and hit down bushes with the tusks if they are not able to reach the bush leaves.

Leopard

The African leopard varies in base color throughout Africa. Depending on the location and habitat, they can vary from reddish brown, through dark yellow to cream. African leopards are covered in black rosettes, usually without spots within them, the pattern of rosettes being unique to each individual. Male leopards are larger and heavier than females.

Leopards have a very varied diet, which includes insects, rodents, reptiles, and even large mammals, and will occasionally take domestic livestock when other food is scarce. They are very strong and they have been known to carry prey many times their own weight (such as Blue Wildebeest) up into trees to protect the carcass from scavengers. They are the only Big Cat who can carry their prey up into a tree. They are nocturnal and usually don’t hunt until dusk, however, they are opportunists and will hunt in the daylight when necessary.

Lion

Lions live for around 10–14 years in the wild, while in captivity they can live over 20 years. In the wild, males seldom live longer than ten years, as injuries sustained from continuous fighting with rival males greatly reduces their longevity. The Lion is one of four big cats in the genus Panthera, and a member of the family Felidae. With some males exceeding 250 kg (550 lb) in weight.

Lions are powerful animals that usually hunt in coordinated groups and stalk their chosen prey. However, they are not particularly known for their stamina. lionesses can reach speeds of 81 km/h (50 mph)
The prey consists mainly of large mammals, with a preference for wildebeest, impalas, zebras, buffalo, and warthogs. Many other species are hunted, based on availability. Lions spend much of their time resting and are inactive for about 20 hours per day
